The design of this English-Georgian landscape is based on two bilateral axes. The first centers on the pool, spa, and garage. The second extends from the bay window of the home onto a perforated brick wall topped with Shogun Trees which offer both a grand focal point as well as additional privacy. Four cement bowls hold seasonal color and serve as sharp anchor point for the two axes while the undulating lines of the recreational putting green bring an informal element to the garden. Confederate Jasmine grows on a three-square pattern cable to resemble a pollarded tree grove. Equally flanked artificial lawn frames a 13-foot-tall arched Japanese Yew privacy hedge which mirrors the pool’s shape, extending the design to the property line.
