Life in the Azalea Lane
This year’s 84th annual Azalea Trail was the perfect herald of spring’s arrival in Houston!
The dreamy three-day event during the 1st weekend of March offered attendees the unique experience of admittance to 7 gorgeous locations, including four private residences and gardens, Bayou Bend, the Rienzi, and the Forum.
From European-style mansions with formal gardens to an art-filled contemporary dream perched above Buffalo Bayou, there was a style to fit everyone’s taste.
Our team put on our walking shoes and strolled through the many unique gardens the Azalea Trail showcased. We even had the opportunity to walk through the designs of our very own Landscape Architect, Jim Jech, at one of the stunning English mansions.
The unique art pieces and sculptures strategically placed throughout the gardens, resonated with our team’s obsession with custom garden reward points.
From renowned artistic sculptures to whimsical topiaries, reward points like these add a layer of interest and customization to any garden.
Talk about interior and exterior patterning!
The extraordinary homes and gardens along the trail were bursting with beautiful details, like this vine bordered arch seen through the sitting room arched window.
We do love our patterning!
Every year an Underwriter’s Party is through at the home of one of the most generous contributors, to thank the underwriters for their generous donation to the Azalea Trail.
Lanson and Cindy Jones truly enjoy attending this evening of mingling and fun with the rest of the underwriter’s every year and look forward to it for years to come.
Our team relished their stroll through the Azalea Trail for future project inspiration and gorgeous garden pictures like these!
Be on the lookout for next year’s Azalea Trail dates; you know it’s right around the corner when Kirby Drive comes to life with these gorgeous blooms!
